July 1, 2015 4:57 am

The wait is over for 226 athletes and officials as they prepare to depart for Papua New Guinea for the 2015 Pacific Games.

The first batch of the Team Fiji contingent will fly out from Nadi International Airport at 7pm and FASANOC Chief Executive, Lorraine Mar says the onus is now on the athletes to do their part.

“Overall I think everyone is raring to go. It’s been a long build-up towards these games and I know that now it’s really the athlete’s time. The administrators have done their bit.”
