The Vodafone Fiji 7’s side knows it cannot rely on its win in Dubai in order to defend the World Sevens Series title.
Coach Ben Ryan says there are a number of teams who can win the title this year.
“I think you’re going to see a lot of different finalist in the next nine tournaments. We saw only three or four different winners last year but I think we are going to see lots of last of and final tow finals. Finalist are going to be different this year.”
Meanwhile, the Cape Town 7’s starts this Saturday.
Fiji plays Scotland at 9.59pm Saturday, they play Russia at 1.20am Sunday and the final pool match against Argentina will be at 5.03am Sunday.
The Cup quarter finals will start at 11.04pm Sunday, the Cup semis start at 3.34am Monday while the Cup final will kick off at 6.30am Monday.
