Tavua will play despite administrative turmoil

Tavua soccer team will take on Nadroga in the Fiji Sun GP Batteries National Football League on Sunday, despite being in administrative turmoil.

After Fiji Football Association suspended former vice president Rizwan Khan, the district has been in doldrums.

Earlier this week interim president Mrs Khan resigned.

According to Fiji FA currently there are administrators who are running the show for but no one has been elected President.

The match will also be a grudge match as the protest by Nadroga saw Tavua get bumped off the list of teams to play the Battle of the Giants.

The match kicks off at 3pm at Lawaqa Park on Sunday.
