Tavua football team hungry for a win

The Tavua football side will be gunning for a win when they host Rewa in their Vodafone Premier League match this afternoon.

After going down to Ba last weekend, the Tavua side will not want to disappoint their home crowd and they will do whatever they can to counter the Delta Tigers.

Both Tavua and Rewa sits at the bottom of the points table having 3 points in bag with the Delta Tigers having an upper hand as far as goal difference is concerned.

The winner of this match has a chance to climb up to 6th place on the points table while the losing team will remain in the danger zone.

Tavua had 3 losses and one win this season.

Meanwhile, Suva is leading with 10 points.

Labasa, who also have 10 points, has been edged out on goal difference and currently settles for the second spot after last weekend’s matches.

Lautoka sits on the third spot while Ba has climbed to the fourth spot after registering a 4-2 win over Tavua.

Tavua hosts Rewa at 3pm at Garvey Park today while Suva meets Ba at the same time at Ratu Cakobau Park and you can catch the live commentary of the Suva-Ba match on Radio Fiji Two.
