The case filed by Tavua will be heard by the Fiji Football Association arbitration committee on Friday.
Tavua, which finished last in the Super Premier during the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League, is scheduled to play in the Promotion Relegation Series against Tailevu Naitasiri.
However, the side has filed for arbitration after a protest decision went against them.
Fiji FA chief executive Bob Kumar says following the arbitration hearing they will decide on the next move.
He adds, should the result stand and Tavua has to play the relegation match, the first game will be held on Sunday.
Should Tavua win its case, Savusavu will have to play in the series.
