TFL Fijiana playmaker Rebecca Tavo has dedicated the victory at the Oceania 7’s to the hard work of all the players.

Tavo says, the victory is a testimony of the effort and commitment put in by all the players in the last eight weeks.

“One to twelve, everyone did their job. We’ve got our leaders in Ana and Rusila but everyone in the team stepped up and did their job and everyone been leaders and have done really well.”

The Fijian women took out the Oceania 7’s in style yesterday with a 55-nil drubbing of Samoa in the final.

The win has also secured the team a spot in next year’s Rio Olympics in Brazil.
