December 12, 2015 3:00 am

Local heavyweight boxing contender, Napoleon Taumoepeau will be gunning for an early finish, when he takes on Fiji champion, Petero Qica in the title fight in Nadi tonight.

The Tongan fighter says he has been training hard for the past eight months for nothing less than a knockout against his younger opponent.

“I’m ready to go the distance but I would like to stop it before the distance. That’s what I would like to do but if it goes the distance, that’s what going to happen.”
