(New Suva football recruit – goalkeeper Uliasi Tamanisau will have big boots to fill this weekend when Suva faces Ba in the first leg of the Pillay Garment Champion versus Champion.

With regular goalie Emori Ragata still in the North, Tamanisau is most likely to start against the Men in Black.

Tamanisau says he is hoping to have a good game if given a chance.

“I am really looking forward to joining Suva, especially to start training with the team. And yeah, definitely looking forward to this season.”

The first leg of the CVC will be played at Churchill Park at 4pm and you can catch a live commentary of the match on our sister station Radio Fiji 2 with the voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart.
