Tailevu reigns supreme

An upset was created in the Digicel Cup match at Ratu Cakobau Park with the Stallions tasting defeat at the hands of Tailevu.

The Green Machines won 15-14.

In the other game Nadi beat Rewa 13-5 at the Burebasaga grounds.

Tailevu leads the Digicel Cup points table with 31 points while Nadroga and Naitasiri are drawn with 26 points each.

Meanwhile, Friday nights match at Ratu Cakobau Park saw Naitasiri beat Northland, 25-10.

The Highlanders tries came from Jese Cirikisuva, Dan Ligairi & Sireli Kaloucava, followed up with with two conversions and two penalties to Kolinio Vunaki.

Northland’s only try came from Waisake Tamani with a conversion and penalty goal from Josevata Bola.
