Tailevu Naitasiri has won the first round of Premier playoffs defeating Taveuni 1-0 in the Fiji Sun GP Batteries National Football League at the National Football Academy in Ba.

Andrew Naicker scored the lone goal in the 86th minute.

They face each other again in the second round of playoffs at the same venue.

Meanwhile, Rewa beat Labasa 4-1 in the U21 playoffs.

Rewa’s goal was scored by Betsy Ali, Iosefo Verevou, Roderick Singh and Seremaia L in the 87th minute while Labasa’s lone goal was scored by Tiko Bose in the 37th minute.
