Tailevu Naitasiri hopes Suva will release Koroi

Former Suva football goalkeeper Tevita Koroi will feature for Tailevu Naitasiri in the Senior Division if released by the capital city side on time.

Tailevu Naitasiri President, Sandeep Roy, says they are currently negotiating with Suva as they suspended Koroi last season.

Roy says Suva is asking for $5000 for his release.

“He has his suspension and fine that is pending. We are just trying to if Suva is able to release the player he will definitely feature during the IDC.”

Tailevu Naitasiri is pooled with Lami, Savusavu and Rakiraki.

They take on Rakiraki in its first pool match at 1pm on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Premier Division also starts on Friday where Rewa plays Tavua at 1.30pm, Labasa faces Nasinu at 3.30pm, Suva meets Nadi at 6pm and Lautoka will battle Ba in the last match of day one at 8pm.
