Tailevu Naitasiri are the Fiji Sun GP Batteries National Football League Premier Division champions, defeating Taveuni 4-1 on penalty shootout today at Subrail Park.

The two teams were evenly matched as they ended the game goalless.

Even the extra spells did not produce any goals.

It was to the dreaded penalty shootout then – which saw Tailevu Naitasiri winners by 4-1.

The win gives Tailevu Naitasiri an opportunity to play in the promotion relegation and step into the top flight of soccer in Fiji.
