Fiji under 21 netball coach, Moape Vu says overseas duo, Adi Kuilamalagi Tabete and Losalini Tuifagalele were outstanding during trials.

The New Zealand-based reps were selected in a 24-member squad at the National gymnasium and Vu is expecting a lift in performance from those chosen.

“They played a different style of netball and I was impressed with the results and performances on the court. These two reps displayed the new skills learned in New Zealand it’s the good thing that they will contribute that challenge for our girls to learn on.”

The national U21 netters are preparing for a tournament in June which coincides with the Pacific Series in Fiji.

Vu adds the side will also compete in the national inter-district championship in August.
