Former Pacific Sprint King, 23-year-old Banuve Tabakaucoro still needs more time to adjust to the game pattern of the national 7’s team.

The Bau bullet believes he does not have the full potential at the moment to don the white jumper.

“Not really, not at the moment. I’ve seen other boys that have been participating really well during training and probably mid-way in the next season or even the coach seeing me that I’m ready but to be honest I’m not ready as yet.”

Tabakaucoro is among the twenty-three member squad camping at the Uprising Beach Resort preparing for the upcoming 7s tournaments.

However, coach Gareth Baber commended Tabakaucoro and says the young athletic star has improved since joining the national squad.
