Pacific Sprint King, Banuve Tabakaucoro is likely to miss this year’s Olympic Games in Brazil.

It’s believed that FASANOC received a confirmation last night from the International Athletics of Association, declining Athletics Fiji’s request for two universality place in the male division.

Javelin thrower Leslie Copeland, who’s currently ranked in top 30 in the world is likely to represent Fiji in Rio.

Meanwhile, in the female division Makereta Naulu stands a good chance of sealing a wild card entry to the game next month.

FASANOC will announce the two names today.
