SVC wants recognition

Swami Vivekananda College will be banking on their athletes to get recognition at the Coca Cola Games starting in Suva on Friday.

Team Coach, Atish Lal says the after winning the Boy’s Title at the Nadi Secondary School’s Athletics Zone after a span 20 years , they are confident of scooping a couple of medals at the tournament.

He adds they have been working closely with the students in the key areas to improve their performance.

Lal says they have been preparing ever since the Nadi Zone meet and the athletes have gained confidence and are geared up for the competition.
The Nadi based school is fielding a total of 20 athletes.

The Coca Cola Games will be held on Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
