Suva will not lose focus: Coach

The Suva football side will be facing Navua this weekend in the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National League.

The Whites, who have opened a five-point gap, after its 1-0 win over Ba yesterday, is not losing focus.

Suva football coach, Gurjit Singh, says the win yesterday will now be forgotten as tougher matches lie ahead.

“Yes I think like every game for us is important. It’s good that we have won and got three points. Lots of games ahead of us as we have seven more games and will now be concentrating on other league games.”

In other games to be played this week, Nadi plays Ba, Lautoka hosts Rewa, while Nadroga takes on Labasa.

Looking at other results from yesterday, Rewa beat Nadi 3-1, Lautoka caused the biggest upset of the round, beating Labasa 2-1, while Navua and Nadroga played out a 0-0 draw.
