The Suva Volleyball Association will forego the Vulaca Championship after not being allowed to field six teams.
FBC Suva Volleyball secretary Viliame Kati says they feel the reason given by organizers of the Vulaca Championship are not justified.
Katia says Suva should not bear the burdens of other volleyball association.
Suva has trained it players well and every time we play the Vulaca all our teams make it to the Vanua Challenge. You cant blame Suva because other associations are not prepared. Suva spends its time and money on the teams.
According to Katia, the organizers of Vulaca says Suva has had six teams in previous tournaments which saw them dominate the Vulaca and Vanua Challenge.
Suva Volleyball will hold its IDC tournament as the same weekend as the Vulaca and are offering bigger prizes.
