Suva to continue its fine form in IDC from where they left in BOG

The Suva football side will be looking to continue with its fine form when they play at the Courts Inter District Championship which starts next week.

The Capital side finished as runners-up at the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament earlier this year.

Coach Gurjit Singh says their preparation has been deterred in the past two days due to the unavailability of the grounds during this rainy weather conditions.

Singh says they have resumed training today and hopes to get all their basics right before game day.

Suva last won the IDC title in 2014.

Meanwhile, the IDC kicks off next Friday where Rewa plays Tavua at 1.30pm, Labasa faces Nasinu at 3.30pm, Suva meets Nadi at 6pm and Lautoka will battle Ba in the last match of day one at 8pm.
