Suva submits Mini Games trialists

Players within the FBC Suva Volleyball Association will still get a chance to trial for the national team despite not competing in the Vulaca Championship.

Suva opted not to participate in the first big event on Fiji Volleyball Federations 2013 calendar, due to not agreeing to the terms set by the organizers, Raiwai.

In the past, players wanting to represent Fiji have had to compete in the national championship but the FVF has changed this.

SVA has submitted 37 names to trial for a spot in the men’s Fiji volleyball team for the Mini Pacific Games in Wallis & Futuna next year.

The list includes veteran, Qilu Elliot who could get a chance to play professionally in Asia next year.
