It’s not the best of starts for Suva’s Champion versus Champion match on Sunday.

They will be without their skipper, Simione Maikali this weekend following his father’s passing.

Suva soccer president, Mahen Prasad says while they mourn for Maikali’s family, they will hold an emergency meeting tonight to discuss supporting him as well as finding a new leader for the side.

“We have a setback with Makali not at traingin for the funeral, but we will talk to the team manager and coach to decide who will lead the team for the Champions league.”

The Suva-Ba match kicks off at 4pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
