Suva ropes in Japanese midfielder

The Suva football side has roped in Japanese midfielder, Kenutai Mai,
for the Pacific Cup tournament which gets underway in Auckland, New Zealand this afternoon.

Coach Gurjit Singh says their latest recruit is a veteran player with a wealth of experience and has been a stand-out performer for the Has-Beens club in Auckland.

Suva will take on New Zealand All Stars in its opening game in the Pacific Cup at 9pm.

In other games, Rewa battles Auckland All Stars in the next hour, Nadi faces Manukau All Stars at 7:15pm while Lautoka takes on USA All Stars at 10:15pm.
