Defending champions of the Courts Inter District Championships, Suva have bought in new players to strengthen its chances of retaining the title next month.
Suva President, Mahen Prasad says they have brought back Antonio Tuivuna from Nadi while Jetsetters striker Filipe Baravilala has also joined the whites.
Labasa duo Manasa Levaci and Christopher Wasasala along with Navua’s Zane Lingam have also been seen training with the capital city side.
Suva open their campaign against newcomers Dreketi at 1pm at Subrail Park in Labasa next Saturday after which Labasa plays Rewa at 3pm.
On Sunday week, Nadroga plays Ba at 2pm at Prince Charles Park while Nadi plays Lautoka at 4pm at the same venue.
The tournament proper begins at Ba’s Govind Park from the 7th of October.
