Suva qualifies for Skipper Cup semis

The Suva rugby team has sealed a place in the semi-final after defeating Nadi 25-18 in the last round of the Skipper Cup competition at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park.

Nadi dominated in the first quarter of the game with tries from Semesa Muadonu and Peceli Katonawale.

The Capital came firing in the second quarter scoring two tries from Mosese Tikoduadua and Alosio Naduva and a penalty try to put them into the lead 19-12 at half time.

Captain, Samu Bola says it was a good win.

“I want to thank the Lord for the win today and we deserved it and before w came we were aiming to win the game. We thanked our supporters and families who always supporting us.”
