Suva One wins boy's title of Central Division Chow Games

The Suva One team won the boys’ title of the 2017 Central Division Chow Games which ended this afternoon at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.

Suva One bagged 25 gold, four silver and seven bronze. Veiuto in second place with eight gold, 17 silver and 12 bronze while Wainibuka in third place with three gold, three silver and four bronze.

In the girls division, Veiuto Primary School defended its title after scooping 21 gold, 12 silver and 7 bronze followed by Suva Two with eight gold, eight silver and ten bronze while Suva 1 in third place with six gold, 15 silver and 11 bronze.

Veiuto Primary School Head Coach, Wise Namosimalua thanked all who have been supporting them in preparing their team.

“The biggest boost behind our team is the support from the parents in putting finds in preparing our athletes and also we went through a very long training season of 13 weeks.”
