Suva not taking Dreketi lightly

October 2, 2015 4:11 am

Defending champions of the Courts Inter District Championships, the Suva football side are wary of newcomers Dreketi in the tournament opener tomorrow.

Dreketi open their campaign in the top league in front of their home fans in Labasa and Suva coach Gurjit Singh says the capital city side knows it won’t be easy riding.

“If you look at the soccer fans in North, I think they will all be supporting Dreketi so we have to be very careful and I know they will play very well in front of their home crowd so this game will be a tough one for us.”
