Suva hopes to end 22 year old drought

The Suva Football will be looking to end its 22-year-old drought in this year’s INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament which kick off this weekend.
Team President Ritesh Pratap says they are going in as underdogs and hopes to win the tournament this year.
“Preparation is going well for us and we’re looking at our weaknesses from our previous games and there were some ups and downs match results. We’re working on that and hopefully come game time, we’re set in terms of our game plan and structures.”
The capital side is pooled with hosts Labasa, Rakiraki and Nadi.
Suva will take on Labasa in its first pool match at 7.30pm Friday.
In other matches on Friday, Nadi plays Rakiraki at 1pm, Dreketi faces Lautoka at 3pm and Rewa to meet Ba at 5pm.
