The Suva Football side’s preparation towards the 2018 Courts Inter District Championship will bolstered by a 10 thousand dollars sponsorship cheque received today.
Lincoln Refrigeration Ltd came on board to support the Capital City side in their championship campaign.
While presenting the cheque this afternoon, Lincoln Refrigeration Ltd Managing Director Praveen Singh says they are here to support the development of football in the country.
“As you know, Lincoln Refrigeration is not only supporting a district but supporting the country in sports and that’s why we‘re here to support soccer tournaments as such which is happening this weekend.”
Meanwhile, Suva Football President, Ritesh Pratap says the assistance will go towards the welfare of the players in this championship.
Suva plays Nadi in its opening 6pm match at Suva’s ANZ Stadium on Friday.
In other matches on Friday, Rewa plays Tavua at 1.30pm, Labasa faces Nasinu at 3.30pm and Lautoka will battle Ba in the last match of day one at 8pm.
