Suva expects crucial match against Namosi

The Suva Rugby Team has been the in-form team of the 2018 Skipper Cup competition.

Suva head into the knockouts on top of the points table with only one loss from six matches.

Fiji Warriors Captain and Suva Hooker Mesulame Dolokoto says he is is confident of his team’s chances.

“We really optimistic and really gunning for this semi-final we’ve proved it throughout the pool games and I know the boys will step up on Saturday.”

In the semi-final matches, Suva will host Namosi at Suva’s ANZ Stadium today while Nadroga plays Naitasiri at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

Both matches will be played at 3pm.

Looking at yesterday’s matches, in the Vodafone Vanua Challenge, Northland beat Yasawa 29-19 while Tailevu defeated Lautoka 21-20.

Tailevu will play Northland in the final.

In the under 20 division, Serua beat Ovalau 18-17 while Nasinu hammered Yasawa 36-20.

Serua will now meet Nasinu in the final.
