Suva banks on match

The Suva soccer side will be itching for win over Ba in order to top the Fiji Sun/ GP Batteries National Football League points table.

They face the Men in Black at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park and coach, Gurjit Singh says they need to play a tight game.

“This game is very important for us to win to establish our position in the national league. It will be a very interesting game between the two top teams and the soccer fans should witness some good soccer.”

Singh adds it will be tough without the services of Nathan Shivam and Joseph Mishra who are in New Zealand for work while Joshua Wilson has not been with the district since the Fiji FACT.

Other league games today are between Nadi-Tavua, Navua-Lautoka, Suva-Ba and Savusavu versus Labasa.

The Viti Levu play-off match between Tailevu Naitasiri and Rakiraki is underway at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori while Lami and Tailevu North are playing at the PTC ground in Nasese.
