The first Pillay Garments Champion vs Champion match between Lautoka and Labasa that is scheduled to be held at Subrail Park this weekend is believed to be the last well for the friendly North before the grandstand is renovated.

Fiji Football Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says they are working with the Labasa Town Council to ensure the stadium and ground conditions are ready by next year.

“This is the only game the Northern fans are able to watch because apart form that there is no other game scheduled for Subrail Park since the stadium will be upgraded but for sure 2019, we are going to take a big tournament to Labasa once its upgraded”.

Lautoka will face Labasa at 1pm this Saturday at Subrail Park in Labasa and you can catch the live commentary of the game on Radio Fiji Two with the voice of soccer Raymond Stoddart
