Cooper Cronk spent 14 seasons at Melbourne Storm forming strong bonds and creating a legend but the Storm are adamant there will be no room for sentiment night should their old mate defy the odds and take his place in the Roosters line up.

The league world has held its breath all week as Cronk has raced the clock to try and overcome a serious rotator cuff injury and the Storm are well aware of the halfback’s power.
