Stiff competition expected this weekend: Yusuf

Eight teams who have qualified in the National Club Championship this weekend will be drawn in to two pools today.

These eight teams are four in the Southern division and four from the western division.

Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says stiff competition are expected as it sees top eight teams will be contesting for the title.

“From the west is the defending champions Nadi Blues and Lautoka FC which has nine Lautoka reps and two strong teams from Ba, Nailaga and YCF, Bureta of Suva and Friends of Suva, Kasavu of Rewa and Combine Brothers of Suva.”

The finals will be held on Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the Fiji FA Academy ground in Suva.
