Defending champions of the Rooster Chicken National Football Club Championships Civic FC of Suva will be a hard team to beat in this year’s competition.

The side consists of majority players who play for the capital city side.

Uliasi Tamanisau, Emori Ragata, Jale Dreloa, Nickel Chand, Pita Rabo and Maciu Dunadamu are some of the names which will lead the charge for the defending champions.

Civic have been pooled with Koromakawa FC of Navua and Tailevu United FC.

The playoffs will be played this weekend with the finals to be played at Ba’s Govind Park next weekend.
