The Nadroga rugby side has successfully retained the HFC Bank Farebrother Trophy after beating Suva 35-23 at Prince Charles Park in Nadi this afternoon.

The Stallions outscored the capital city side by four tries to two.

Nadroga captain, Nemani Nagusa led by example with a try from the scrum after Suva had taken an early lead with two tries to Sikeli Vuruna and Nacani Wakaya.

The defending champions extended their lead with tries to Alifereti Tovilevu and Jone Navori.

Suva halfback, Serupepeli Vularika was awarded ‘Man of the Match’.

Nadroga will defend the Farebrother Trophy against Vodafone Trophy champions, Malolo next weekend.
