Nadroga rugby team has called on its supporters to come out in big numbers as the union struggles with finances to play the Farebrother Sullivan Challenge against Tailevu this Saturday.

Nadroga spokesperson Tiko Matawalu says they are playing this weekend against all odds because the vanua and its people have pride in the Stallions.

Matawalu says fans can help by coming in big numbers and cheering the boys on.

He adds the game itself will be tough as Tailevu was the only team that defeated them this year.

“Tailevu is a strong team and they can turn the tables on anyone. They are playing us and we will be keeping in mind the capabilities of the Tailevu team.”

The match kicks off at 3.30pm on Saturday at Prince Charles Park.
