Sports officials undergo administration course

October 24, 2015 4:54 am

Administrators from various local sporting bodies have been learning the basics of sports management over the past three days.

Course educator, Pauline Stephen Morris says the Oceania Sports Education Program teaches participants the necessary skills to take back to their respective national federations.

“The outcome is for them to go back into their communities and put into practice what they have learnt here. It has been identified that if you create competent administrators, they will in turn create and become more efficient and practice good governance when they go back into their national federations.”
