Defending champions and hosts South Africa impressed on the opening day of the South Africa 7s, round three of the HSBC Sevens World Series, as last week’s Dubai champions won all three of their matches against USA, Kenya and Wales.

Cecil Afrika became the Blitzboks’ all-time leading point’s scorer in the process, overtaking Fabian Juries with his try against Wales, while Seabelo Senatla scored six tries to continue his presence on top of the try-scoring charts this season and they will face England in the Cup quarter finals on day two.

Meanwhile, Fiji will take on Australia at 11.41pm tonight after the first quarterfinal match against South Africa and England at 11.19pm.
