The Fiji Football Association Board of Control Members will meet on Friday to discuss pending protests and the premier league technicalities for the match between Tailevu Naitasiri and Rakiraki.

Fiji FA chief executive, Bob Kumar says they initially hoped to make a decision last night however, talks were not forthcoming.

Kumar adds with Savusavu travelling to Viti Levu this week, clearing all issues on Friday proved suitable.

“Objections were raised by Rakiraki officials last week on the away goal issue and we thought we’d resolve the matter before proceeding with the games. We are seeking advice on that with Rajesh Patel who is seeking legal advice on that and hopefully we can get something today.”

Technicalities of the ‘Away Goal’ rule are in question while pending protests are between Rewa against Tavua and Suva with Savusavu.
