Soaga confident of OFC chances

The Lupe Ole Soaga team of Samoa is confident of their chances at the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League football competition this week.

The team arrived in the country today.

Head Coach, Paul Ualesi says the players have prepared themselves well to battle the best teams in the region.

“This is a great opportunity for the boys to come here to Fiji to our neighbours and to play with them. I know this is our first tournament here and we are nervous but the boys are working .hard to play their better performance here.”

Lupe Ole Soaga will face AS Pirae of Tahiti on Saturday at 4.30pm at Govind Park while Vodafone Ba takes on Gaitcha at 7pm.

On the same day, Vodafone Suva will take on defending champions Auckland City at 4:30pm at the ANZ Stadium, followed by the clash between Western United and Amicale at 7pm.
