Six Fijian players named in the Taranaki rugby side

Six Fijian players have been named in the Taranaki rugby side for New Zealand’s Mitre 10 Cup which begins on Thursday.

New Zealand winger Waisake Naholo and utility back Seta Tamanivalu have been named alongside Pita Sowakula, Asaeli Sorovaki, Manasa Mataele and Kiniviliame Naholo.
Former Flying Fijians center Naulia Dawai has been named in the Otago side which consist of Vilimoni Koroi, Jona Nareki and Joketani Koroi.
Meanwhile, Northland have roped in former Fiji Under-20 captain Temo Mayanavanua, Ropate Rinakama and Jone Macilai.
The Mitre 10 cup beings on Thursday with North Harbour playing Northland at 7.35pm.
