Former Flying Fijians number eight Sisa Koyamaibole has received a 12-week ban for biting.
The Bordeaux rep was found guilty of biting London Irish flanker Declan Danaher and is suspended until January 7.
At the judicial hearing, Koyamaibole accepted that he had committed an act of foul play contrary to good sportsmanship.
Koyamaibole will miss his club’s next three Amlin Challenge Cup games, starting with tomorrow’s encounter against Gloucester.
He will also sit out a number of French Top 14 league games and will not be available for Fiji’s autumn Test matches, including a Twickenham appointment with England on November 10.
