Former Labasa Football coach Ronil Lal has step aside from his position as the team beings preparation for the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants.
It is believed that Lal will not be part of Labasa’s campaign during the tournament next weekend.
Gurjit Singh takes over as the coach of the Babasiga Lions.
Singh was on the bench when Labasa beat Dreketi during the Vodafone Premier League competition last weekend.
Meanwhile in the VPL league matches, Rewa hosts Suva at 7.30pm at Nausori’s Ratu Cakubau Park tonight while Rakiraki plays Nadi at Prince Charles Park at 8pm on Friday.
On Sunday, Ba hosts Rakiraki at 3pm at Govind Park while at the same time, Nadi plays Lautoka at Churchill Park.
