Singh scores knockout victory over Ali

Sebastian Singh “the Sniper” scored a knock-out victory over Junior Fazan Ali “the Razor” in the first round of the Canada Fiji Southern Boxing Promotion last night at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

23 year- old Singh threw a powerful punch to Ali that resulted in the knockout.

Singh says the fight ended earlier than what he expected.

“My team told me that the fight won’t last in three rounds but I said no. I have doubt in myself like whole of today I was thinking, having all this mind game, thinking of him being the strongest opponent and thinking of his past bouts and it really mentally matched me up but on my way to the ring I saw the crowd and It hyped me up to be back on track.”

Singh adds he still have respect for Ali and what he has done for the sport.

Singh has a total of 11 bouts, winning nine with six knockout and two losses while Ali has 37 professional fights, winning 28 with 19 knockout, eight losses and two draws.
