The Westwood Boxing Northern Rumble hits Labasa this weekend with a lot of expectations as the friendly north will witness the sport after a lapse of 12 years.
Sebastian Singh has so far fought two fights locally and knocked out both his opponents in the first round.
Singh takes on Naitasiri’s Waisale Ratu in the main supporting bout and says he is ready for it.
“Preparations are good. I’ve been training hard. Just rounding off preparations now, last week to the fight so that the body can recover well. I have prepared well and hard. We have done things that I know most boxers hardly do in the country like hiking, explosive training and a lot of running at the rainforest.”
The Westwood Boxing Northern Rumble begins at 1pm at Subrail Park in Labasa this Saturday.
Joseph Kwadjo takes on Opeti Tagi in the main bout of the day.
