Singh masterminds Suva's game plan

July 26, 2018 5:00 am

Suva football coach Gurjeet Singh believes he is aware of the threat Labasa can bring in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants semi-final on Saturday.

Singh coached the Babasiga Lions last year in the BOG where they lost to Rewa one-nil at the Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori last year.

Singh says he has seen Labasa playing and as a fair idea on what to expect in the semifinal.

“We are playing Labasa, we’ve seen them play so we have to work on that game first and if we qualify than we move for the final but the important thing is to know how to stop Labasa, and I know that Labasa will be doing the same thing so we have to do a bit of tactical changes.”

Suva takes on Labasa in the first semi-final at 2pm on Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka after which Ba faces Nadi at 4pm in the second semi-final.

The final is scheduled for 3pm on Sunday.
