Singh hopes for better Day Two at Fiji International

October 15, 2015 6:53 pm

Vijay Singh is confident of a better outing in the second day of the Fiji International today at the Natadola Bay Championship Course in Sigatoka.

The former World Number 1 carded six over par 72 yesterday and says the weather conditions proved to be a major hurdle for all players.

“I hope the rain stays away so we can just worry about the wind and not the rain as well. I think I’m going to do well today, I believe bad run is now behind me.”

Looking at the leader board, World number 16 Matt Kuchar and South African Antonio Murdaca lead the charge into Day two with a score of one over par 72.

Local players, Bill Suguturaga, Anasa Seruvatu, Tomasi Tuivuna and Krishna Singh are in danger of missing the first cut at the end of the second round today.

The Fiji International continues this morning at Natadola and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
