Former World netball champions New Zealand is coming to play in Fiji for the first time ever.
This as the Silver Ferns will be in the country to participate in the inaugural Oceania Tri Series in January, along with Fiji and Samoa.
Netball Fiji President, Wainikiti Bogidrau says it’s a dream come true for them as they get to host the New Zealand side in the country for the first time ever.
_"We are quite excited, it’s been a long time we have been planning this and it’s come about and Netball NZ has also released the same situation in Auckland, this morning." _
Bogidrau adds that Netball New Zealand has been impressed with the consistency shown by Fiji, and is one of the reasons they have decided to undertake the tour.
The four day Tri Series begins on the 19th of January, with Fiji taking n the Silver Ferns at the National Netball Centre in Suva.
