Sila and ACS lead Triple N Zone

Sila Central High School and Adi Cakobau currently lead their respective positions in the Triple N Zone athletics competition at the National Stadium in Suva.

Four records have been broken so far with two of those coming from ACS.

In the intermediate girls triple jump, Miriama Senokonoko of Adi Cakobau School broke the old record of 10.59 metres to set a new height at 11.47metres.

In the Intermediate girls long jump, Meredani Nakea equalled the old record 4.70 metres.

The Intermediate boys javelin saw Petero Vulimaiwai of Sila Central throw a distance of 48.66 metres to break the old record of 45.79m.

The 100m and 200m finals for both divisions start at 2pm while the 4×100m and 4×400m finals begin at 4pm.
