Last year, his journey in New Zealand rugby appeared to be over after he signed a deal with Connacht.

The Irish club terminated the deal due after Reece was involved in a domestic violence incident in July, 2018.

Coach, Steve Hansen earlier defended Reece’s selection in the 23 member squad after naming his side.

Hansen says Reece has developed on and off the field and people should not be worried about his past, but what rugby has done for him.

Hansen put his faith on Reece and he has paid him back with four tries in his six Tests so far.

Hansen says Reece made his mark through form and athleticism into the All Blacks frame ahead of the likes of winger Rieko Ioane.

Reece will start for the All Blacks against England tonight at 8pm in the first Rugby World Cup semifinal.

South Africa will take on Wales at 9pm tomorrow in the second Rugby World Cup semifinal.
